Frequently asked questions

What happens when my trial ends?
Your configuration and articles are saved in read-only state. Nothing is deleted. Choose a plan to resume publishing. "Export your data" is always available, even in locked state.
Can I cancel anytime?
Yes. Cancel from the account page. Your account downgrades at the end of the billing period. No fees, no hassle.
What is Omnivocal and do I need it?
Omnivocal is Microcorp's multi-channel publishing platform — it handles delivery to X, Bluesky, Threads, Medium, GitHub Pages, Telegram, and more. It's the recommended publishing layer for EIC: configure it once and every approved article flows to your channels automatically. It's a separate product with its own subscription (omnivocal.io). If you already use Omnivocal, EIC connects immediately via your existing API key. If you don't want to use Omnivocal, you can configure a webhook instead — EIC will POST the approved article payload to your endpoint, and you handle delivery from there.
What counts as an article toward the monthly limit?
Each generated piece — whether a tweet-length social post, a full long-form article, or a status message — counts as one article. A single source item can produce multiple article targets (e.g. a social post and a long-form piece) from the same ContentItem; each target type counts separately.
How does the MCP server work?
The EIC MCP server exposes tools (ingest_content, generate_content, list_queue, preview_article, etc.) that any MCP-compatible IDE client can call. In VS Code or Cursor, you can ingest a GitHub release and trigger generation in one command, without leaving your editor.
Is the content actually good?
It depends on your bar. Short social posts at volume: yes, consistently good. Long-form editorial: adequate for technical changelogs and product updates out of the box. For AlphaDog-style investment analysis you will approve more and regenerate more — that is expected at MVP. The rejection rate dashboard metric surfaces this per-site so you know exactly when to consider a model upgrade.

Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period. You may cancel at any time from the account page — your account downgrades at period end, not immediately. In compliance with California's Automatic Renewal Law (Cal. Bus. & Prof. Code §§ 17600–17606) and the FTC click-to-cancel rule, cancellation is available at any time with no fees and no additional barriers.
